by | Road Trips

A road trip, often spelled road trip, is a traveling long distance on foot or by car across any region of the world. Usually, road trips are long distance traveled by automobile. The concept behind a road trip is that the driver and passengers can see the sights, feel the wind in their hair, and appreciate the countryside without having to depend upon maps and directions. Sometimes, this type of trip is a romantic getaway for two or more people. The destination will be selected depending on where the cars will meet and there will be designated times for meals and entertainment. The trip may last one day or several days.

There are many different types of road trips available to the traveler. Some types of road trips include camping trips where the vehicle is parked in a location and the driver and his or her companions go hiking or otherwise engage in outdoor activities. Other road trips include road trips that follow a prescribed route and drivers travel around in their cars. Another type of road trip is the one way trip; it’s a journey where the driver does not stop to refuel and rest. These types of journeys are sometimes accompanied by attractions and/or parks where the cars can park.
